Fit to lead? Biden confuses wife and sister

After Super Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden's all-but dead presidential campaign come to life as the former U.S. Senator and vice president was able to take the Democratic delegate lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Is Joe Biden the Comeback Kid?

According to Steve Schale, a veteran Democratic campaign consultant from Florida, Biden has "engineered the greatest comeback in modern political history."

"It’s perfectly appropriate that a guy who has come back from more setbacks in his life than most has engineered the greatest comeback in modern political history," said Schale "Amazing stuff."

Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) also tweeted out her support and praise for Biden, stating "The #MoJoe continues! From South Carolina to Super Tuesday, voters across America sent a strong message: @JoeBiden has what it takes to win the White House. With FLA around the corner, we saw amazing Democratic energy and Joe can mobilize it into a winning coalition in November!"

Biden Takes Texas — Sweeping Southern States on Super Tuesday

But just as it looks as if Biden has carved out his pathway to victory in the 2020 Democratic presidential sweepstakes, Biden's mental state continues to be called into question.

Is he fit to lead?

The answer is probably 'yes' but he sure is making an awfully good case that he isn't ready, or won't be able to lead.

Biden is known to make off-color and questionable gaffes (countless gaffes over the years), but just as he addressed his supporters on Super Tuesday, Biden confused his sister and wife.

Jill Biden can be heard saying, "No, I'm his wife" as Biden caught himself and said, "they switched on me."

Biden is very well respected and liked, and his usual fun-loving demeanor is what is driving his campaign, but will it be enough to win the presidential primary and eventually defeat President Donald Trump?

Probably not, and you can expect Trump to highlight Biden's gaffes.
