Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar (D) has outed the Biden administration’s struggle to address the “border crisis” by posting images of the living conditions within detention “pods” being used to house illegal aliens crossing over the U.S.-Mexico border.
Rep. Cuellar took the pictures at the CBP overflow facility in Donna, Texas, even as the administration has hypocritically restricted media of covering the housing facilities.
During the Trump border crisis, Democrats and Biden all criticized the Trump administration for not allowing the press to cover and report on “deplorable” house conditions along the border.
Cuellar told Axios that the Border Patrol agents were "doing the best they can under the circumstances" but are "not equipped to care for kids" and "need help from the administration.”
"We have to stop kids and families from making the dangerous trek across Mexico to come to the United States,” added Cuellar. “We have to work with Mexico and Central American countries to have them apply for asylum in their countries."
