As the controversial and divisive Critical Race Theory education concept continues to be debating across the country, and in almost all cases, denounced on a bipartisan basis by parents, CRT is now being equated to the Communist and Fascist leaders such as Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, by Texas gubernatorial candidate and former Congressman Allen West.
Last weekend, West spoke to a group of America First supporters at the CPAC Texas convention in Dallas, where he warned that after the National Education Association (NEA) came out in support of CRT, proponents of the education concept are now starting to attack the parents of students, telling parents that “you no longer have control of what does on in the mind of your child.”
“Randy Weingarten the head of the American Federation of teachers said ‘teachers unions are going to start going after the parents, we’re gonna attack the parents if you don't want us to teach critical race theory to your kids were going to come after you,’ asserted West.
West then said that teachers and school boards have taken control of children, much like Adolf and Stalin did during their respective reign of terror.
“Parents you no longer have control of what goes into the mind of your child's last word. When is the last time you heard such foolishness like that,” asked West. “Go back and read Adolf Hitler, you go back and read Stalin, you go back and read Lenin, you go back and read Chairman Mao, all of them talked about control of the children, that if they got control of the children, they would have control of future generations of that nation.
The Biden administration has already come out in defense of the controversial theory, and the NEA has even gone as far as to say that CRT was not being taught in K-12 schools.
