For many Americans this is very daunting a House Speaker hasn’t been selected. Grace Saldana, Editor-in- Chief for RSBNetwork, tweeted on Jan. 4, 2023, at 7:06 p.m., “If Republicans can’t even unite to vote in a Speaker of the House, how will they be able to unite and take action on the issues that matter to their base?”

Fortunately, despite not selecting a House Speaker yet, the House is scheduled to “reconvene to vote for the seventh time for speaker” at noon on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023.
