Trump Announces Texas Elected Leadership Team

As the threat of being arrested looms over President Donald Trump (R), the presidential candidate took to Waco, Texas to rally his base. During his speech, he directed criticism at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and President Joe Biden (D) among others. President Trump also announced his Texas Elected Leadership Team, touting their help as his surefire way of winning in 2024.

Over the weekend, President Trump held a rally in Waco, Texas where a reported 25,000 people gathered to see his first 2024 campaign rally.

The Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee, in a message to supporters, shared that “President Trump detailed his Agenda47 platform, promising to secure our borders, restore law and order in American cities, end the war in Ukraine, defeat the cult of gender ideology, unleash American energy independence, and rebuild the American economy.

In Trump’s own words, “not only is Biden courting nuclear holocaust, he’s blowing up the U.S. economy with the Biden Banking Crisis – a disaster of historic proportions.”

Since announcing his presidential bid, Trump has antagonized many that once touted themselves as his biggest supporters, and others have shifted gears by affirming that the country needs to move on from Trump.

Still, some consider themselves loyal supporters, and in the Lone Star state, some of Trump’s devout supporters now comprise his 2024 Texas Elected Leadership Team.

This team includes Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick (R), Attorney General Ken Paxton (R), Rep. Pete Sessions (R), Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R), Rep. Mayra Flores (R), and Rep. Randy Weber (R) among others.

“As President, I will end the inflation nightmare and rebuild the greatest economy in the history of the World,” Trump told the fired up crowd, adding that he “will reclaim our energy independence and energy dominance, just as we had a few short years ago.”
