Cruz Responds to Biden’s Adherence to Israeli Boycott Legislation

Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) recently responded to President Joe Biden’s (D) adherence to legislation calling for a boycott of scientific and technological cooperation with Israeli Jews.

“This new boycott of Israeli Jews is yet another example. The State Department is telling the entire U.S. government not to cooperate with Jews in Judea and Samaria. And of course it was sent to Congress in secret, and only revealed because reporters found out,” said Rep. Cruz.

The Texas representative stated his belief that the Biden Administration’s actions were intentionally and maliciously targeting Israel.

“Joe Biden and Biden administration officials are pathologically obsessed with undermining Israel. Since day one of their administration they have launched campaigns against our Israeli allies that are granular, whole of government, and done in secret.”

Cruz called out what he believed to be hypocrisy in the Biden Administration’s ethics.

“The Biden administration defends funding scientific research in Wuhan with the Chinese Communist Party, but they’re discriminating against and banning cooperation with Jews based on where they live.

“I will do everything possible to reverse this decision and prohibit such antisemitic discrimination by the U.S. government in the future.”

In a recent press release responding to legislation against anti-semitism, Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) stated, "It sickens me that our Jewish communities have faced growing threats in recent years, fueled by dangerous and hateful rhetoric."

The Florida senator expressed his disgust with the prejudices that Jewish people have had to endure. He then stated his desire to ally with the Jewish community.

"It sickens me that our Jewish communities have faced growing threats in recent years, fueled by dangerous and hateful rhetoric. In Florida and across America, we must continue to stand with the Jewish community and fight against antisemitism anywhere it is found – and this resolution makes clear that ANY attacks or hateful rhetoric about Jewish people or the State of Israel is labeled what it is: antisemitism,” said Sen. Scott.
