Rep. Van Duyne Attacked DOJ 'Protecting' Biden Family

In an interview with Fox News, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne (R) attacked the Department of Justice (DOJ) for allegedly “protecting” Hunter Biden and the Biden family.

In a tweet, she stated that the actions of the DOJ have been going on for some time.

“The Department of Justice has done everything they can to protect the Biden family’s corrupt business dealings for YEARS and continues to do so,” said Rep. Van Duyne.

Hunter Biden was recently charged on gun and tax charges. Moreover, Republican politicians have repeatedly claimed that President Joe Biden (D) was in some way involved in his son’s crimes.

“This is just a number of different ways that the DOJ has stood in between showing evidence that would convict the Bidens of crime. We have seen this over and over again for at least ten years.”

Rep. Van Duyne pointed to her committee position as a means to validate the insight she’s heard about the Bidens and the allegations surrounding their family.

“I’m on the Ways and Means Committee. We have heard from numerous whistleblowers who have shown ways that leaders in the IRS, DOJ and FBI have squashed. Absolutely squished down any attempts to be able to find the Bidens guilty of any crime.”

Pres. Biden has denied any connection to his son’s business dealings. However, not only do many Republicans not believe him, but they also still desire to see Hunter Biden face punishment.

“Under the Trump administration, they were using fake dossiers…they were using wiretaps, looking for smoke. Under the Bidens, they have found fire, and they’ve everything that they have to put it out. It is an absolute two-tier system. And you got to follow the money.”

Biden is facing three charges in total, two misdemeanors and one felony, related to possession of a firearm. In 2017 and 2018, he did not pay taxes even though he owed over $100,000 in each of the years.

It is worth noting that this case is highly controversial, with a variety of differing opinions. Those that defend the president’s son state that the DOJ bringing forth gun charges for nonviolent offenders is rare. Moreover, they claim that the taxes have been paid back in full.
