Trump Leading in new National Republican Primary Poll

Eric Trump has shared the results of a new 2024 National Republican Primary poll conducted by FiveThirtyEight, which shows President Donald Trump (R) soaring in the polls. According to the poll, President Trump is polling at 53.3%, which far surpasses the rest of the candidates. In sharing the results, Eric Trump slammed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for dropping in the polls.

The poll comes at a time when President Joe Biden (D) appears to be struggling in the polls. Earlier this month, a poll indicated that President Biden and President Trump were both tied in a potential 2020 rematch.

However, in sharing the results, Eric Trump not only took aim at President Biden. Eric also directed verbal jabs at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), arguing that Republicans should rally behind President Donald Trump.

In sharing the poll, Eric Trump commented that “DeSantis has dropped over 20% and has faded out of view. Everyone else is out of this race. It’s time for this party to come together, stop wasting money and resources on eachother [sic] and devote all of our time to Joe Biden, the single worst president in United States history.”

Governor DeSantis comes second in the poll with 14.3%, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (R) is at the bottom of the list with 0.0%.

Calling on the Republican party “to lead,” Eric further commented that “we are throwing away valuable time, money and effort.”

This week, reports also indicated that President Barack Obama (D) had voiced concerns over President Trump’s supportin the race against President Biden. During a private lunch with President Biden in the summer, Obama is reported to have shared that he would do everything within his power to help get Biden reelected. Obama warned that President Trump has an intensely loyal following, adding that this could make him a formidable rival in 2024 election.
