Rep. Roy Shares Bizarre and Fiery Tirade on McCarthy Ousting

Congress’s ousting of California Representative Kevin McCarthy (R) from his former position as speaker of the House is receiving mixed reactions, including a bizarre and fiery tirade from Texas Representative Chip Roy (R).

In a video posted by the controversial, Trump-supporting pundit Laura Loomer, Rep. Roy addresses the vote for Rep. McCarthy's ousting.

“Some of our brothers and sisters, specifically in the MAGA camp, I think particularly enjoyed the circular firing squad.”

The Texas representative then sarcastically welcomed those who disagreed with him to call him a “RINO”—Republican in name only—before continuing his tirade.

“Look, I’ve spent a lifetime fighting for limited government conservatism. I have laid it all on the line. I’ve not seen my family for two days in the last 30 days. You go around talking your big game and you thumping your chest on Twitter…yeah, come in my office and debate mother—,” he said abruptly.

He would begin to heat up even more as he became upset while contrasting his viewpoints with various detractors who have celebrated the historic move to oust a sitting speaker of the House.

Rep. Roy's tirade became brazenly profane as he pointed to WWII veterans who died in combat as a reason for his stance on the ousting.

“There are people who are buried over in Normandy who deserve us to stand up for what they fought for. So, that’s what I’m going to do,” said Roy.

The enraged conservative then sharply told his social media critics to “stick it” while claiming that he would not back down from his position.

“I’m going to go down to the floor and do my job, and I’m going to stand up for the people who fought for this country. And I’m going to do it the way I think is right for the people I represent. That’s what I think.”

Before ending his speech, Roy asked a question regarding the state of American politics.

“What happened to a country where we can’t even have order? You want to know what Ron DeSantis should be talking about? Being the governor who can restore order as president of the United States.”

In other news, Texas Representative Dan Crenshaw (R) to took social media to lament the ongoing Republican infighting.
