Crenshaw Calls Biden's Job Creation Claim Propaganda

President Joe Biden (D) is facing a difficult week in office as interns are calling for him to call for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas. Though the president is unlikely to make the call, he has taken to social media to tout the manufacturing jobs that have been created under his administration, However, Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) is disputing the claim that President Biden has created jobs, calling it propaganda.

With polls showing that President Donald Trump (R) is overtaking President Biden, the war between Israel and Hamas has drawn criticism towards his administration from members of his party. President Biden has maintained his support for Israel, but members of Congress have threatened to not support him in the upcoming election should he not call for a ceasefire.

Now, more than 40 interns who are working in the White House and other branches of the executive office are accusing President Biden of having “ignored” the “pleas of the American people” by not calling for a ceasefire.

President Biden has not responded to this call, but he is touting jobs that have been created under his administration.

Taking to social media, President Biden shared that “we’ve created close to 800,00 manufacturing jobs since I’ve taken office.”

Rep. Crenshaw responded to this claim, arguing that the president is not providing the facts.

“The only jobs a President creates are jobs in federal government,” he wrote on X, explaining that “manufacturing jobs are created by private businesses, and they have created jobs despite the additional $400 billion in regulatory costs that Biden has imposed on them.”

“It would be more accurate to say that we would have far more manufacturing jobs created under a business friendly Republican President,” Crenshaw added, noting that it was “facts. Not propaganda.”
