Roy Escalates Using 25th Amendment Against Biden

After the first presidential debate, Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R) announced that he would be introducing a resolution to discharge President Joe Biden (D) from his powers of office. Subsequently, Rep. Roy has made calls for Vice President Kamala Harris (D) to invoke the 25th amendment against the president. As President Biden's cognitive ability continues to be a topic of discussion, Rep. Roy is escalating the call for Vice President Harris to invoke the 25th amendment.

On social media, Rep. Roy once again made the call for Vice President Harris to invoke the 25th amendment against President Biden, affirming that Congress has no power to invoke it.

"The real story is that Democrats are so politically craven and pathetic - having carried out the “Real Big Lie” of Biden’s supposed competence, they almost certainly will not do it," he lamented.

Directing his message to "the freak-out caucus questioning the wisdom of calling for invocation of the 25th amendment," he provided several reasons he believes "Joe Biden, with 200 days remaining in his term, is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office - including and in particular as commander in chief in a dangerous world."

Rep. Roy noted that "if Democrats do reluctantly choose to replace Joe Biden, they are in a box of their own making... and they would prefer it be a candidate OTHER than Kamala Harris."

The Texas congressman believes that it is a danger to the country for President Biden to be in office, warning that "the dude has the nuclear codes, people... he is in charge of our military and making very serious decisions, and right now - A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE UNCONSTITUTIONALLY PERFORMING THE DUTIES OF PRESIDENT, NAMELY JILL BIDEN."

Invoking the 25th amendment was previously broached when California Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D) called on Vice President Mike Pence (R) to invoke it against President Donald Trump (R).
