Cruz Comments on Biden's 'Screw You' to Voters by Selling Border Parts

Last week, the Daily Wire released a bombshell report alleging that the Biden Administration is quietly auctioning off sections of the border wall. Republican response was swift as some found the move to be an effort of the Biden Administration impeding the Trump Administration’s efforts to secure the border. Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) is now commenting on the sale of border parts, accusing the Biden Administration of saying “screw you” to the Trump Administration and voters.

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R) directly responded to the Biden Administration’s alleged sale, stating that Texas is ready to buy the border parts to deliver them to President-elect Donald Trump (R).

“I will bid on all of that wall, and we will buy it in Texas, and we will give it to Donald Trump,” Lt. Governor Patrick told Laura Ingraham during an interview on the Ingraham Angle last week. “we’re gonna have the money. We’re gonna have about $6 billion in our budget for border security,” he added.

In the latest episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, the Texas Senator addressed the alleged sale, Senator Cruz called the move an example of “arrogance” and “unaccountability” from the Biden Administration.

“It’s an arrogance of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Alejandro Mayorkas, of Merrick Garland, and let’s be clear of Chuck Schumer and the Senate Democrats and Congressional Democrats,” he commented, adding that “every person in America knows that the voters of America voted to secure the border.”

Polls related to the 2024 presidential election showed that the southern border and illegal immigration were top concerns for voters. As well, a majority of voters believed that President Trump was the strongest candidate to address the issues.

“You know what the Democrats are saying on the way out? ‘Screw you. We don’t care. We don’t care about the voters.’”
