Biden Administration no Longer Selling Border Wall Parts

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R) has announced that the Biden Administration is no longer selling parts of the border wall. Earlier this month, a bombshell report uncovered that the Biden Administration was auctioning off parts of the border wall, which Republicans saw as the incumbent administration attempting to impede the incoming Trump Administration from carrying out its border security efforts. Texas Republicans are now celebrating the ceasing of the sales, calling it a win for President-elect Donald Trump (R).

Last week, Lt. Governor Patrick responded to news of the Biden Administration auctioning off parts of the border. For Texas, he claimed it would be no problem because the state was prepared to bid on the parts and hand them over to President-elect Trump. The president-elect also weighed in on the issue during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, accusing the Biden Administration of committing a "criminal act" and announcing that he would seek a restraining order against future sales of the border wall parts.

In a social media post, Lt. Governor Patrick however announced that the Biden Administration had ceased its efforts to sell the parts.

"Last Thursday, a tip from Border Patrol exposed Biden for attempting to sell wall panels," the Lt. Governor wrote on social media, further informing that "a few days later, the administration rushed thousands of usable wall panels, not clearly seen before, to an auction site in Arizona." Assessing that this was done to prevent President Trump from using those wall panels, the Texas Republican announced that "that auction happened today, but thousands of good wall panels that we were ready to buy were pulled from the auction."

Why did that happen?

According to the Lt. Governor, the Lone Star State visited the auction site last Friday and found that "the usable wall panels were not listed, or it was not easy to see what they were."

"Texas sent a representative to Arizona, and the auctioneers told him they pulled the wall panels from being auctioned off today at the direction of the U.S. Government," the Lt. Governor shared, adding that the auctioneers "also told us that if these thousands of panels go up for auction, Texas will be notified first."

Ff the panels do go back up for auction at a later time, the Lt. Governor assures that he and Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) are determined to buy them.

"President Trump was the key to ending the secret Biden plan," he wrote on social media.

"It’s another Trump win, and he’s not even in office yet"
