Biden Hid the Amount of Americans Held Hostage by Taliban, Threatened to Kill Americans Over Kabul

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced that the Taliban has been holding a greater number of American hostages than was first thought.

Secretary Rubio warned that if the hostage count is higher than thought, the U.S. would immediately place a “VERY BIG bounty” on Taliban leadership, adding that the bounty could exceed that of Osama Bin Laden’s.

“Just hearing the Taliban is holding more American hostages than has been reported. If this is true, we will have to immediately place a VERY BIG bounty on their top leaders, maybe even bigger than the one we had on Bin Laden,” stated Sec. Rubio.

After former President Joe Biden’s botched military withdrawal from Afghanistan, it was reported that many U.S. citizens were left behind, but the Biden administration downplayed the actual number of Americans that were left in the Taliban’s control.

This is not the first time the Biden administration has tried to cover up the true number of Americans being held hostage or killed by the Taliban.

Back in 2021, now-Rep. Cory Mills rescued a Texas family trapped in Afghanistan when it appeared as if the administration had left them stranded.

Biden Targeting Americans

When Mills and his team tried to land the plane they chartered to rescue the family, they were threatened with being shot down by the U.S. Military if they attempted the landing. According to Rep. Mills, while his plane circled over Kabul waiting for permission to land, he was in contact with another  American family waiting to be rescued at the Kabul International Airport.

Prior to Mills landing in Afghanistan, the family was in constant text communication with him and also sent him an image of them holding up their blue American passports, confirming they were waiting outside the Abbey Gate entrance to the airport. In the image, the family appeared to be stand about 20-40 ft away from the actual gate.

After the suicide bombing, Mills never heard them again.

According to the Department of Defense website, 13 U.S. military personnel and 170 Afghan civilians died.

Mills went on to conduct first-ever successful overland rescue of Americans when he brought the Texas family home.

Shortly after the bombing, the Biden administration announced that there were only 13 U.S. military personnel that were killed at the Abbey Gate suicide terror attack and that no other Americans lost their lives.

That was not true.

Rep. Mills claimed that the Biden administration had actively covered up the number of American lives lost as a direct result of the bombing at the airport.

The Cover Up

Biden continued to cover up the fact that probably around three dozen other blue passport-holding Americans died on the other side of that gate, and they utilized the fact that they don’t have to report American deaths abroad, as long as they’re not military service members

Then-Senator Marco Rubio was made aware of Mills’ efforts and the unreported loss of American lives by Texas Politics' Publisher Javier Manjarres on a flight from Washington, D.C. to Miami, Florida, who also saw the image and texts from the  family that appeared to have died at the airport in Kabul.

Sen. Rubio, who sat on the Senate Intelligence Committee,  asked Mills to personally brief him on the issue.

Mills, and aide, and a campaign staffer with Sen. Rubio, met in the Russell Senate building to discuss the rescue mission to Afghanistan. Manjarres also sat in on the meeting.

It is not known how many other Americans were killed during the suicide attack, or how many Americans are still being held captive by the Taliban.

**Note—

"Because of the potential national security implications, and the fact that more Americans could have been put in harm’s way at the time, The Floridian opted to not report on what transpired during Mills rescue efforts, and his interactions with Senator Rubio until now."—Publisher Javier Manjarres
