Abbott Says School Choice is Best Option for Texans in new Op-Ed

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) is leading Republicans in ramping up efforts to pass school choice legislation, arguing that it will provide families with more educational opportunities. Despite opposition from Democrats, Governor Abbott announced recently that Republicans have the votes to make school choice a reality in the Lone Star State. READ MORE.

State Rep. Brent Money: "No strings attached is in the @TexasGOP platform. We have the votes to pass HB3 with no strings, and there's no reason to add strings to try to get the votes of people that have never supported school choice anyway."
Attorney General Ken Paxton: "Notice that @JohnCornyn has been radio silent on if he supports President Trump and VP Vance standing up to Zelenskyy's blatant disrespect yesterday. Cornyn continues to turn his back on the America First agenda."
Rep. Beth Van Duyne: "Even Clinton and Obama supported cutting wasteful, duplicative, and unneeded federal programs to reduce the budget. Now, Democrats are lying, claiming that cutting wasteful spending is unconstitutional despite similar efforts from their party's recent leaders."
Rep. Brandon Gill: "America is the 'land of opportunity' precisely because we DON'T have a caste system. We cannot sustain America's prosperity and liberty by importing foreign class allegiance. Immigration without assimilation is national and cultural suicide."
