Texas Rep. Wesley Hunt (R) has condemned an alleged incident in Seattle in which a masked individual followed a woman driving a Tesla. The criminal allegedly cut her off, stopped in the middle of the road, and confronted her while accusing her of owning a “Nazi” car. The suspect reportedly demanded that she sell the vehicle, raising concerns over politically motivated harassment and lawlessness.
In response to the incident, Rep. Hunt took to X, warning that America is “approaching a dangerous tipping point” as radical elements continue to sow discord. “Much like the riots that swept the nation during the so-called ‘Summer of Love’ in 2020, America is once again approaching a dangerous tipping point,” The Texas lawmaker wrote on social media.
He further criticized the media for allegedly contributing to a divisive atmosphere and fostering chaos.
“Radical leftists within government and the media are shamelessly using their platforms to incite and normalize lawlessness. Their appetite for chaos knows no bounds, and the media leviathan shielding them refuses to hold them accountable for their words or actions,” he argued.
Rep. Hunt called for the Department of Justice to act, urging prosecutors to hold those responsible accountable. “Violence against the American people will not be tolerated—now or ever. The Department of Justice must pursue each and every one of these individuals responsible for terrorizing innocent people and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law,” he said.
Referencing past investigations under the Biden administration, he argued that law enforcement should apply the same level of scrutiny to such incidents. “If Biden’s FBI can target concerned parents at school board meetings and infiltrate houses of worship, then the Trump DOJ and FBI must be just as relentless in tracking down those responsible for acts of domestic terror—and making an example of them.”
Rep. Hunt concluded with a warning, writing, “The longer this is tolerated… The WORSE it will get!”
