Trump Declares that the U.S. Will 'Protect Our Farmers'

President Donald Trump (R) released a message to American farmers as the tariff war between the United States and China continues. According to The New York Times, China purchased 14% of all U.S. agriculture last year, or approximately $27 billion.

The 45th and 47th President declared that American farmers have been put on the "front line" against China throughout this process, but they're built for it.

"Our farmers are GREAT, but because of their GREATNESS, they are always put on the Front Line with our adversaries, such as China, whenever there is a Trade negotiation or, in this case, a Trade War. The same thing happened in my First Term. China was brutal to our Farmers, I [asked] these Patriots to just hold on, and a great trade deal was made," said President Trump.

He continued, sharing that his predecessor, President Joe Biden (D), failed to enforce the deal he made with China as the Chinese didn't "respect" the former Commander-in-Chief.

"I rewarded our farmers with a payment of $28 Billion Dollars, all through the China deal. It was a great transaction for the USA, until Crooked Joe Biden came in and didn’t enforce it. China largely reneged on the deal (although they behaved during the Trump Administration), only buying a portion of what they agreed to buy. They had ZERO respect for the Crooked Biden Administration, and who can blame them for that?" said Trump.

Trump concluded by saying, "Interestingly, they just reneged on the big Boeing deal, saying that they will “not take possession” of fully committed to aircraft. The USA will PROTECT OUR FARMERS!!!"

Recently, Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated President Donald Trump for his tariff strategy at the recently held cabinet meeting.

President Donald Trump recently issued a series of tariffs targeting what his administration believes are unfair trade practices.

After a few days of negotiations, President Trump issued a 90-day freeze on tariffs for all countries that opted for negotiation rather than retaliation.
