Tarrant County GOP Disappointed That Trump Endorsed 'RINOs'

The Texas House of Representatives remains embroiled in controversy following the election of House Speaker Dustin Burrows (R), an election that has spurred infighting among Republicans. Critics within the GOP  are now sharing their disappointment in President Donald Trump (R) endorsing those same Republicans who propelled Speaker Burrows to his office. READ MORE.

State Rep. Brian Harrison: "The Texas House just passed a bill creating a CRIME to... release balloons!! WHAT. THE. HELL. Texans, if your kids let their balloons fly away... HB1904 would CRIMINALIZE that! No, this is not a joke. I wish it were."

Texas House Democrats: "Texas Republicans held public school funding hostage for 5 years to pass vouchers. Greg Abbott promised relief for our schools once it passed. The voucher bill is signed -- but the funding bill is stalled in the Senate. 5.5 million Texas students are still waiting."
