Rep. Chip Roy Reaffirms Support for Israel, Condemns Iranian Backing of Terrorism

In response to recent attacks on Israel, Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) issued a strong statement underscoring U.S. support for Israel and condemning Iran’s role in fueling regional violence.

“The recent attacks in Israel are a reminder of the stakes involved with defending one’s national sovereignty and standing athwart the evils of the Iranian Regime and its dangerous promotion of terrorism and radical Islam,” Roy said.

Rep. Chip Roy expressed full support for President Donald Trump (R). He praised the administration’s continued backing of America’s closest Middle East ally.

“I stand with President Trump as we will continue to support our friend and ally, Israel, as it rightfully takes action to defend itself,” Rep. Chip Roy stated. “I am unequivocal in my belief that denying Iran nuclear capability is firmly in the national security interest of the United States.”

Tensions in the region have escalated following recent attacks on Israeli civilians and military personnel, incidents that U.S. officials have linked to Iranian-backed militant groups. The Trump administration has responded by reaffirming its commitment to Israel’s security and calling for increased pressure on the Iranian regime.

Roy concluded his remarks by calling for solidarity with the Israeli people, “We pray for the peace and security of the Israeli people as they face these attacks with courage and resolve.”

The Texas Republican has consistently supported a hardline stance against Iran and remains a vocal proponent of Trump-era foreign policy, including the Abraham Accords and the "maximum pressure" campaign aimed at curbing Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
