US Underscores Trump's anti-Nuclear Iran Policy as US Strikes Loom

The White House recently reminded the public of President Donald Trump’s consistent anti-nuclear Iran stance as speculation festers anticipating US involvement in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict.

“President Donald J. Trump has never wavered in his stance that Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon,” reads a White House press release.“A pledge he has made repeatedly, both in office and on the campaign trail.”

Iran has recently indiscriminately fired a sundry of inter-ballistic missiles against Israel, killing and injuring civilians.

Iran’s attacks are a retaliation against Israel’s ongoing  targeting it's nuclear development programs.

The White House cataloged over 50 instances where President Trump expressed resolute opposition to Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon.

The timing of the White House’s statement parallels the ongoing deployment of an additional US carrier strike group (CSG) to the Middle East.

The Nimitz CSG is en route to join the Vinson CSG in the Arabian Sea near Iran’s shores.

The last time two CSGs were together in the area, the US used them to target Houthi terrorists in nearby Yemen.

While some reports suggest the US will not join Israel’s attack unless Iran directly attacks American assets, moving the CSG Nimitz to the region has been described by military experts as a potential preparation for hostilities.

Trump has not publicly explicitly revealed whether the US will attack Iran or not, but recently expressed he seeks a “real end” to Iran’s nuclear development programs.

Iran Watch, an organization devoted to exposing Iran’s weapons development programs, recently reported Iran is dangerously close to obtaining nuclear weapons.

Iran Watch claimed Iran has “accomplished over 90% of the work needed to bring natural uranium to weapon-grade.”

Similarly, Israel claims Iran “is nearing a point of no return” in its quest to obtain nuclear weapons.
