Rep. Jasmine Crockett: "Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of how far we've come - and how much farther we still have to go. It marks the moment freedom finally reached our people right here in Texas. Our people took what was withheld and built something powerful: resilience, pride, and a legacy we carry to this day. We remember those who fought to get us here, and we stay in the fight to make sure nobody's left behind. Happy Juneteenth, y'all."

Rep. Beth Van Duyne: "Thank you to the local and federal agencies that carried out Operation Showdown in Fort Worth to keep our North Texas community safer. They arrested 76 individuals, seized 287 firearms, and seized enough fentanyl for 240,000 lethal doses."

State Senator Roland Gutierrez: "Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom. 160 years ago the Union army marched into Galveston, TX, declaring enslaved Black people free two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. We must continue to fight for freedom and human dignity in America and around the world."

Senator Ted Cruz: "For 15 years, President Trump has been clear: under no circumstances will Iran be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon. President Trump is handling this exactly the right way."
