Cornyn Campaign Releases 'Who Is Dave P?' Site Against Paxton

The Cornyn Campaign is striking Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) by asking “Who is Dave P?”

A little over a week after state Senator Angela Paxton (R) announced that she had filed for divorce, Senator John Cornyn (R) has largely remained mum until now. Attorney General Paxton issued his own statement, claiming that the divorce stemmed from “political attacks and public scrutiny.”

However, the Cornyn Campaign has now responded to the news of the divorce, releasing an advertisement and a website referencing an alleged alias that Attorney General Paxton assumed during an alleged affair.

In the advertisement “Who Is Dave P?”, court documents showing that the attorney general had created an Uber account under the name “Dave P” to travel to “the apartment of the woman with whom the attorney general was allegedly having an extramarital affair.”

The advertisement, dubbing the attorney general "Crooked Ken Paxton," goes on to implicate the attorney general's team in the affair, uncovering an alleged web of controversy that connects "his mistress" to a political donor.

The "Dave P" narrative has previously been denounced by the attorney general, but after state Senator Paxton announced that her divorce was based on "Biblical grounds," questions have floated surrounding the his personal and professional lives.

In the end, the advertisement claims that "it seems Dave P was never just an alias. This is who Crooked Ken Paxton really is."

Coinciding with the release of the advertisement is a website that provides a timeline of the alleged affair, receipts from the alleged Uber rides, and it also allows viewers to sign up to receive "updates, leaked documents, and exclusive content on Ken Paxton's cover-up."

The Paxton campaign has not responded to the release of the advertisement and website.
