Governor Greg Abbott: "Today, I expanded my state disaster declaration to include four additional counties. This will help local officials and emergency management personnel access every available resource to support their fellow Texans in need. I also directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to work with FEMA and the Trump Administration to bring additional federal assistance to even more affected counties. Texas will continue to be relentless in our efforts to help impacted Texans and communities rebuild from these catastrophic floods."

State Rep. Brian Harrison: "Texans: How do you feel about politicians who voted to ban hemp and give billions of YOUR money to liberal Hollywood??"

State Senator Mayes Middleton: "Texas will not bend to the woke left's radical gender ideology! Today I filed SB 7, the Texas Women's Privacy Act, which stops men from entering women's private spaces like restrooms, locker rooms and showers. As a dad to a young daughter, I will always fight to protect women and children!"

Rep. Sylvia Garcia: "Trump is forcing a mid-decade redistricting in Texas to rig the 2026 election because his agenda is losing and he knows it. These maps aren't coming from Austin. They're being drawn in secret by the Felon in the White House."
