Harrison Announces Reelection Bid With Trump Endorsement

State Rep. Brian Harrison (R) has officially kicked off his re-election campaign for Texas House District 10, sharing a high-profile endorsement from President Donald Trump (R).

State Rep. Harrison, who is a former senior Trump official, emphasized his record in office and his commitment to conservative causes in a press release announcing his reelection bid.

Citing numerous “conservative results” like being called “the most effective member of the Texas house” successfully leading the charge against COVID vaccine mandates in the state, and bringing “unprecedented transparency to the corruption in Texas government through social media,” the Texas Republican vows to continue fighting for conservative principles.

In his endorsement, President Trump commented, “in recognition of your outstanding service to the Great People of Texas, I am honored to give you, Brian Harrison, my Complete and Total Endorsement in the upcoming Re-Election. Together, we will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The campaign also shared praise from Senator Ted Cruz (R), who called state Rep. Harrison “a fighter for freedom and the type of leader we need in the Texas Legislature.”

In a statement, state Rep. Harrison expressed that “it’s been my privilege to fight for the freedoms of everyone in Ellis County and all Texans, and I’m honored that President Trump told me in person that he is supporting me in my reelection!”

In looking to the future, the Texas Republican noted that “Texans deserve bold, conservative leadership who will not bend a knee to the liberal Austin swamp, but who will fight for the next generation of Texans, even if that means standing alone.”

He pledged to push ahead with key legislative priorities, which include abolishing property taxes, cutting spending and regulations, and ending taxpayer funding for DEI and LGBTQ programs.

His goal is to “make Texas the #1 state in America for LIBERTY!”

State Rep. Harrison has been a member of the Texas House since 2021 when he was elected through a special election.
