Congressman Hamadeh Invites Student Artists to Compete in Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom in America-themed Annual Congressional Art Competition

March 4, 2026 – WASHINGTON DC – Congressman Abraham J. Hamadeh is inviting high school students to enter their artwork in the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. The non-partisan official event is open to all high school students residing in Arizona’s Eighth Congressional District.

The deadline for submissions for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition is Friday, April 17, 2026.

The theme for this year’s competition is “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom in America.”

“I look forward to seeing even more talent from Arizona as last year’s art submissions were truly incredible. We were proud to display winner Luke Wagner’s artwork at the Capitol and at my district office,” stated Congressman Hamadeh. “With the theme this year being our nation’s 250th birthday, I expect that we will be very inspired by the artwork we receive for consideration.”
