Hyroad Energy Secures Full Capacity at New Hydrogen Fueling Station

Hyroad Energy has announced a commercial fueling agreement with Total Hydrogen Solutions (THS), a division of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Company LLC, to support the development of a new hydrogen refueling station in Katy.

The deal includes an offtake agreement granting Hyroad access to the station's full fueling capacity, positioning the company to meet growing demand from its fleet customers across Texas.

The station, which will be designed, built, and operated by THS, will feature on-site hydrogen fuel cell trucks and trailers. The facility is expected to become operational later this year following nearly two years of collaboration between the companies.

The project reflects increasing momentum behind hydrogen as an alternative fuel source in the transportation sector, particularly for long-haul and heavy-duty applications where battery-electric solutions face limitations in range and refueling time.

"We're proud to partner with Hyroad Energy on this important step forward for hydrogen trucking in Texas," said Mark Mire, CEO of Total Hydrogen Solutions. "This station represents the kind of scalable, reliable infrastructure the industry needs."

Hyroad CEO Dmitry Serov emphasized the importance of infrastructure readiness in scaling hydrogen transport.

"Hyroad is well on its way to offer our fleet customers in Texas the reliable, high-throughput fueling they need to operate at scale," he said.

The agreement underscores a broader shift in the energy and logistics sectors, where companies are investing in diversified fueling solutions to meet emissions goals and operational efficiency demands.

As hydrogen infrastructure continues to expand, projects like the Katy refueling station highlight how public-private partnerships and long-term supply agreements are shaping the future of clean transportation in Texas and beyond.
