Republican Candidates and Officeholders Gather for Fundraiser Rally in Sherman

Republican candidates and officeholders will gather in Sherman tonight for a fundraiser rally for Rep. Shelley Luther (TX-62).

Who will attend the rally?

The Red River Roll Call will be attended by Gov. Abbott, AG Paxton, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Speaker Dustin Burrows and other Texas Republicans.

What are people saying?

  • Paxton: "I'll be in Sherman, Texas, tomorrow night with incredible patriots as we come together, united around our shared values and our vision for Texas."

Tickets for the event are being sold to the public. During the event, attendees can meet many of Texas' most prominent Republican leaders. Rep. Luther shared on X that the event is expected to have over 1,000 attendees.

The event in Sherman will be the biggest Republican rally ever held in Grayson County, which is near the Texas-Oklahoma border.

"State Representative Shelley Luther has been a tremendous asset to Grayson County and a great friend to the local Republican Party and our efforts," Grayson County GOP wrote on its website.

In addition to Republican candidates and officeholders from around the state, national conservative influencer Scott Presler will attend the event. Presler, a grassroots activist and Trump supporter, is on the featured leaders and guests list.

Many prominent leaders will be attending the event.

"Who's ROLLIN' to my Red River Roll Call?" Luther wrote on X.

The event is an opportunity for Texans to hear directly from Republican leaders and meet them. Grayson County officials are preparing for the event, which will be the largest Republican gathering in Texas since the GOP national convention in Houston in June.
