Ted Cruz puts himself in Coronavirus quarantine

Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) has decided to self-quarantine for 14 days after coming in contact with an individual diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

The interaction occurred during the annual CPAC convention in Washington, D.C. less than two weeks ago, and while Cruz says he is not symptomatic, and after consulting with doctors and even the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the junior senator released a statement of his intentions to sequester himself in Houston for a few more days.

The CDC recommends all potentially exposed patients quarantine themselves for 14 days.
