Sen. Ted Cruz Absolutely Goes Off on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey

Senator Ted Cruz (R) held nothing back Wednesday while blasting tech giant Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square. During a Senate Commerce Committee hearing, Cruz blasted Dorsey over Twitter's decision to block a story from the New York Post that implicates Hunter and Joe Biden. This story from the New York Post gives insight into Hunter Biden's foreign business dealings, which seem to be likely wrought with corrupt intent.

The Texas Senator was unapologetic in his remarks, asking "Who the hell elected you?". He continued to let Dorsey and Twitter have it, saying the social media giant is out of line.

Cruz echoed many conservatives' beliefs that Twitter acts as a " Democratic super PAC.", and contended that the blocking of the New York Post's story is another example of political bias in the media. Twitter, according to Senator Cruz has been "by far the most egregious” of all social media companies.

These social media companies have been a topic of great concern to conservatives like Cruz. They fear that the companies have become too involved in the business of censorship and political biases.

Cruz, who ran for the presidency in 2016, is thought to be a likely candidate to run in 2024. Regardless of who wins the presidency in less than a week, Ted Cruz is a conservative worth keeping an eye on going forward.
