McCaul Warns That Biden's 'Unconditional Surrender' to Taliban Will Breed More Terrorism

As President Joe Biden’s strategy to pull all American personnel out of Afghanistan continues to implode in plain sight, the “unconditional surrender” to the Taliban could turn out to be very costly for the U.S. in the weeks, months, and years to come.

The Republican Leader of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Texas Rep. Michael McCaul, believes that Biden’s “unconditional surrender” to the Taliban and exit plan was a “totally self-inflicted wound” and a “stain on his presidency.”

In speaking to Texas Politics this week, Rep. McCaul believes that due to the president’s actions in Afghanistan, “he's got blood on his hands.”

Rep. McCaul said that he and other House members received an intelligence briefing the president was also privy to, that painted a “grim assessment” of what would happen after the U.S. left Afghanistan, adding that the briefing “predicted exactly what was going to  happen-The Taliban will take over the country.”

“The Taliban was waiting it out, they were playing us,” said McCaul. “This is an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions.”

McCaul also warned that because of the hasty “retreat,” the U.S. has “no intelligence capabilities” to be able to keep tabs on Russia, China, and Iran, not to mention the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.

The World is Watching.

Biden’s military retreat is being watched by U.S. allies, terrorist groups, and enemy states like Iran and China. China, in particular, will now be able to "rape" Afghanistan of its minerals, just as they have been doing to other nations like Venezuela.

“Our standing in the world has been greatly diminished,” continued McCaul. From an image standpoint, our standing in the world is greatly diminished and this only emboldens our enemies—the terrorists will have a celebration on 9/11 20th anniversary just like they did when they defeated the Soviet Union. Their stock is on the rise. It will be a terrorist breeding ground.”

The Biden administration has just announced that it has the capability of evacuating 8-10,000 people a day. Just today, reports of more Taliban retribution against those they believe helped the U.S. as a bomb was detonated just outside of Kabul, killing 50.
