Ted Cruz Attacks Biden's Handling of Documents

Texas Senator Ted Cruz (D) took to social media to share his recent attack on the Biden Administration and the handling of the recently discovered classified documents. Sen. Ted Cruz joins several other Republicans in their claims of President Joe Biden’s (D) hypocrisy.

In a recent interview, speaking of the documents, he stated, “It was discovered that Biden had classified documents. Not in one place, not in two places, not in three places, but in four and five. He had them stuck by his corvette. He had them stuck by a room in the garage. He had them in the Penn center he had them in the residence. So, you got to wonder where Joe Biden didn’t have classified documents.”

Cruz’s references come after President Biden and his administration have denounced former President Donald Trump’s handling of over 100 classified documents which were unearthed at his Mar-A-Lago estate and prompted a raid by the FBI.

Last year’s Mar-A-Lago raid alarmed several Republicans. Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) tweeted, “The @FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago is incredibly concerning, especially given the Biden admin’s history of going after parents & other political opponents. This is 3rd World country stuff. We need answers NOW. The FBI must explain what they were doing today & why.”

Addressing the recent scrutiny of his handling of the documents, Biden had this to say, “We found a handful of documents were filed in the wrong place," Mr. Biden responded. "We immediately turned them over to the Archives and the Justice Department. We're fully cooperating, looking forward to getting this resolved quickly. I think you're gonna find there's nothing there. I have no regrets. I'm following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. That's exactly what we're doing. There's no there there.”

It's worth noting that the investigation is still ongoing, and as of right now, 10 out of the estimated 20 documents have been declared classified.

The public bipartisan reaction to the president, and former president’s, handling of classified documents could have a major impact on the upcoming 2024 election.
