Rep. Mills Tears Into Biden Administration for 'Retaliation' Against Abbott, DeSantis Via Immigrant Flights

Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) appeared on “Fox & Friends” to discuss President Joe Biden’s (D) Humanitarian Parole Program which has admitted over 350,000 immigrants into the United States by airplane. The vast majority of migrants were sent to Texas and Florida, two states led by staunch anti-illegal immigration Governors Greg Abbott (R-TX) and Ron DeSantis (R-FL), respectively.

Nearly 22,000 migrants were flown into Texas and 326,000 migrants were flown into the state of Florida.

When asked if this was retribution by the Biden administration, Rep. Mills concurred.

“This is an attempt to retaliate against red states. The governor here in Florida, as well for Texas, have continued to bus those to the sanctuary cities who claim that they want to have the immigrants that are coming into their cities, but yet they want to complain about them like (New York City) Mayor Adams has done,” said Rep. Mills.

The Florida Congressman cited the recent Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) report by Todd Bensman which showcased 326,000 illegal immigrants were flown into Florida on a humanitarian parole program from October 2022 to February 2023.

"That we know of," Rep. Mills warned, "[Bensman] also stated though that his investigation had no cooperation with [Customs and Border Patrol] or others to actually give him the real numbers. That means that when we are talking every single month, when we are saying 200,000 across the border this month, 175,000 this month, that is not including this humanitarian parole program that Biden has set up to illegally go ahead and bring more criminal migrants from Honduras, from Venezuela, from Guatemala, and these are the countries that are dumping their prisons."

Mills said this is why "we have these thousands and thousands of these angel families," such as Laken Riley and State Representative Kiyan Michael's (R) son Brandon, who was killed by an illegal immigrant in a traffic crash in 2007.

"This is a real humanitarian, national security, and health crisis that is plaguing America, and Biden is doing this unconstitutionally into the state of Florida," Mills continued.

Moreover, he concluded by saying Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has sent articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and "we can go up the chain from there for those who are truly responsible, which is Joe Biden."

Recently, Representative Randy Weber (R-TX) led over 15 of his colleagues in sending a letter to President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding transparency concerning reports of the Humanitarian Parole Program.

Rep. Weber said that this decision from the Biden administration not only poses a threat to national security but also “raises serious questions” about the President’s administration.

“Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas are consistently sidestepping the rule of law to assist and guide unvetted illegal aliens into our communities, and now helping them to fly directly to American cities. This poses not only a national security risk but also raises serious questions about this Administration,” said Rep. Weber. “We will hold their feet to the fire and demand answers for the American people. Secretly flying unvetted illegal aliens into our cities at the expense of the basic safety of the American people has no place in America."
