Rep. Crockett Says Republicans 'Wreak Chaos and Havoc'

An unlikely rivalry is seeping into the 2024 presidential election. Earlier this month, Texas Rep. Jasmine Crocket (D) and Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) took part in a heated exchange that went viral. During the exchange, Rep. Crockett accused Rep. Greene of having a "bleach blonde bad built butch body." Rep. Crockett is capitalizing on the exchange to campaign for President Joe Biden (D), accusing Republicans of causing "chaos and havoc."

Shortly after the exchange went viral, Rep. Greene went on social media to offer a response.

In a video, she showed footage of her working out. In the caption, Rep. Greene wrote that her body is "built and strong NOT with nips, tucks, plastic, or silicone, but through a healthy lifestyle."

The exchange in the House began with Rep. Greene commenting on Rep. Crocket's "fake eyelashes," and now the Texas Democrat has issued a message to supporters, commenting that she wasn't elected "to be anyone's doormat."

In a message of support for President Biden, Rep. Crocket expressed that Rep. Greene's comments are indicative of the Republican Party's ability to win elections.

"MAGA Republicans like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene love to pick fights they can't win," she expressed in the message. "When they're cornered by your arguments, they'll mock your appearance. When the rule of law is an obstacle, they'll break it with impunity. When they are responsible for taking away your freedoms, they'll try to blindfold you, distract you."

She accused Republicans of trying to subject her to racist tropes, and she affirmed that she wouldn't let Republicans "lie about President Biden either."

Last week, Rep. Crockett launched a "Crockett Clapback Collection" that includes a T-shirt with "bleach blonde bad built butch body," and it it also expected to include other things. Profits from the sales will go towards her reelection campaign as well as the campaign to gain a Democratic majority in the House.
