Texas 'Delivering' Border Wall to President Trump in 2025

Democrats and Republicans haven't exactly seen eye-to-eye on the border. Democrats have denounced it, and Republicans have stressed the need for a stronger border, but a new deal could prove to be lucrative for both sides of the aisle. New reports indicate that the Biden Administration is quietly auctioning off sections of the border wall, and Republicans want in on the deal.

Footage shared by a U.S. Customs agent showed numerous flatbed trucks that were hauling away dismantled sections of the steel wall close to Tucson, Arizona. "They are taking it from three sections: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points," the anonymous agent is reported to have told the Daily Wire.

During an appearance on the Ingraham Angle, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R) announced that Texas is interested in buying the sections of the border wall in order to turn them back in to the Trump Administration.

"I will bid on all of that wall, and we will buy it in Texas, and we will give it to Donald Trump," the Lt. Governor told Ingraham. "So I'm going to find out... where we gotta take the bid. I've got a billion dollars in my pocket to do it. I write the budget with Senator Joan Hoffman. We're gonna have the money. We're gonna have about $6 billion in our budget for border security. We'll buy it," he added.

The response comes after Republicans have suggested that the Biden Administration is trying to sabotage the incoming Trump Administration's plan to secure the border.

However, the Lone Star state, which has taken the issue of border security into its own hands, says that it's willing to shell some cash to help the Trump Administration secure the border.

I will go in and buy it all," Lt. Governor Patrick reiterated in the interview.
