Rubio Lays Out State Department Internal Policy Plan For 'Safer, Stronger, More Prosperous' America

Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently laid out his vision for America’s Department of State during his 4-year mandate at its helm.

Secretary Rubio, who claimed that leading the State Department was the “highest honor” of his life, underscored his strategy would be modelled towards bolstering America’s strength, safety, and prosperity.

President Donald Trump’s appointment of Rubio marks the first time the position is held by an individual with latino heritage.

“Every dollar we spend, every program we fund, and every policy we pursue must be justified with the answer to three simple questions,” explained Rubio.

“Does it make America safer? Does it make America stronger? Does it make America more prosperous?”

Regarding institutional priorities, Rubio qualified “curb(ing) mass migration” and “securing America’s borders” as primordial tasks.

“The State Department will no longer undertake any activities that facilitate or encourage mass migration,” claimed Rubio.

Next, Rubio emphasized the return to a merit-based performance reward system to ensure the State Department motivates and attracts top talent.

Moreover, Rubio described he would terminate the State Department’s support of “political and cultural causes that are divisive at home and deeply unpopular abroad.”

While unclear as to what ‘causes’ Rubio was alluding to, Rubio has previously vehemently opposed social and cultural ideologies promoted by progressives and endorsed by President Joe Biden’s State Department.

Rubio also channeled President Trump’s anti-Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts by promising the State Department would speedily execute the former’s executive orders prohibiting public DEI practices.

Finally, Rubio pledged to end censorship and continuing to combat anti-American propaganda while committing to reversing irrational climate policies that "weaken America” without ignoring sensible environmental solutions.

“In short, President Trump’s forward-looking agenda for our country and foreign relations will guide the State Department’s refocus on American national interests,” concluded Rubio.
