Texas Healthcare Association: "THCA congratulates Secretary Kennedy on his confirmation. We are excited to work alongside him to enhance the care and quality of life for individuals in nursing homes and assisted living communities across the country. As the voice of long-term care providers in Texas, we understand the growing challenges they face as people continue to live longer, including the increasing number of senior residents with complex, chronic health conditions. Making Americans healthier from a younger age will give our future residents a greater quality of life as seniors. Not only will it make their later years more enjoyable, but it will lighten the load carried by families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare system."

Texas GOP Chair Abraham George: "Speaker Burrows has announced the committee assignments and leadership for the 89th Legislative Session. The decisions made in this House will shape the future of Texas, and history will judge this session by the legislation it passes - or fails to pass. The Texas GOP is already in motion, fighting to secure every possible conservative victory. The stakes are high, and there's no room for complacency. Let's get to work."

State Rep. Sheryl Cole: "I'm honored to have been appointed Vice Chair of the House Administration Committee, Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on County & Regional Government, and appointed to the Intergovernmental Affairs and Culture, Recreation & Tourism Committees for the 89th #txlege!"

Rep. Pat Fallon: "President Trump's maximum pressure campaign makes clear the US will not tolerate a nuclear-armed Iran. Gone are the days of appeasement and lax sanctions enforcement towards the regime best known for being the leading state-sponsor of terrorism."
