State Rep. Brent Money: "Texas Taxpayers were not allowed to testify on the state budget (SB1), but there was a parade of invited testimony from grateful agencies and special interest groups that the taxpayers are being forced to fund."
Rep Wesley Hunt: "It should come as no surprise that the lowest expressions of racism, race-baiting, and ignorance in American politics continue to come from the very party that once championed segregation. And isn't it interesting - Democrats like the former Vice President and others who married white men seem to be completely immune from the left's racial attacks. Apparently, the color of your spouse's skin only becomes a political issue if you're a conservative."
Rep. Jasmine Crockett: "The SAVE Act is yet another bogus attempt by Republicans to suppress the vote - and this time, they're targeting women."
Senator Ted Cruz: "Earlier this year I introduced legislation to reverse the Biden-era rule that bans gas-powered water heaters. I'll bring the measure to a vote soon on the Senate floor."
