This approval is a major step forward to ensure that Texans have what they need to rebuild and recover. Rep. Beth Van Duyne: "The One Big Beautiful Bill cuts taxes and slashes regulations to drive growth, investment, and more jobs for working Americans! Just as we saw with the 2017 Trump tax cuts, growth far exceeded what the almost always wrong CBO projected. More growth delivers more revenue and less debt! That's the goal."

Rep. Jasmine Crockett: "While Trump is out here firing thousands of federal workers, jacking up costs on everyday Americans, and threatening to shut down entire agencies - House Republicans are chasing Biden like he's still president. And to do all this after the man was just diagnosed with cancer? The absurdity. The callousness. Y'all worried about the wrong damn president."
