Governor Greg Abbott: "Today, I directed the Dept. of Public Safety and National Guard to surge forces into Austin ahead of an Antifa-linked protest. Texas will NOT tolerate chaos. Anyone destroying property or committing acts of violence will be swiftly arrested. Law and order will be enforced."

State Rep. Gene Wu: "This week, I joined Houston leaders to stand against Abbott's order to strip 'political ideologies' from roadways. Montrose's rainbow crosswalk is more than a symbol of LGBTQ community pride. It's also a memorial for Alex Hill, a cyclist killed in a hit & run at this very place."

Rep. Beth Van Duyne: "Senate Democrats just refused to re-open our government, voting for the tenth time to hold the American people and our federal government hostage. Once again, choosing illegal immigrants over the American people."

Rep. Wesley Hunt: "Two Harvard degrees, and she still can't define the difference between a man and a woman. THat's the fringe-left mind virus on full display: the soft bigotry of low expectations. Ketanji Brown Jackson is NOT A VICTIM. But her opinions are victimizing SCOTUS."
