Big Digital Energy has completed the acquisition of a power-ready industrial site in Hood County through a joint venture with 10NetZero, advancing plans for a large-scale AI and high-performance computing campus that could ultimately support up to 300 megawatts of power.
Big Digital Energy announced it has completed the acquisition of a previously announced industrial site in Hood County, Texas, through a joint venture with energy infrastructure company 10NetZero.
Located less than 40 miles from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, the approximately 50-acre property currently has 17 megawatts (MW) of operational power.
According to Big Digital, the site's existing natural gas infrastructure could support behind-the-meter power generation, allowing the campus to eventually reach up to 300 MW of total capacity.
The company has also retained Northland Capital Markets as its financial advisor to evaluate artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC) opportunities for the property, including financing options and partnerships with potential customers.
Big Digital CEO Phil Stanley said securing ownership of the property moves the project into its next state of development.
