According to Democratic Senatorial candidate MJ Hegar, a "pro-Cornyn Super PAC" has used the tattoos she had inked to cover up her battle wounds to paint her as a "radical."
Hegar's fire-breathing dragon tattoo her shoulder is reminiscent of a tattoo found on a member of the biker gang Hell's Angels, but so what, it works for her. I can see someone tatting a dragon on the arm, and not an image of Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny, as many Americans have done.
In looking closely at her tattoos, you can't see any large wounds or any size scars, for that matter, but small holes and cuts can be easily covered up with a large colorful dragon tattoo. Grrrr!
Hegar's 2020 Senate opponent, Sen. John Cornyn (R), has lead in all of the public opinion polls, including the latest NY Times/Siena poll where he leads by 6 percentage points. This poll is a good sign for Hegar because it shows that she has bridged Cornyn's previous double-digit lead.
But for Hegar to pull off an upset in Texas, she is going to have to get that dragon on her to scorch the campaign trail for her and help her raise money because Cornyn has a whole lot of money in the bank and appears to be on his way to re-election.
But even with a big influx of campaign cash, the biggest problem that Hegar faces is MJ Hegar herself.
Hegar's all-out support for the current Progressive agenda, which includes the criminal Black Lives Matter movement, is the one insurmountable obstacle that stands before her.
A pro-Cornyn Super PAC is using a photo of my tattoos to make me seem "radical." That's pretty funny to me.
You think I'm ashamed of them? They cover my shrapnel wounds from when my helicopter was shot down. They're a mark of my service to our country. I'm damn proud of them. pic.twitter.com/HrqX68ZzKa
