Representatives Wesley Hunt (R-TX) and Byron Donalds (R-FL) unloaded on President Joe Biden (D) for a multitude of reasons as the Democratic Party is scrambling to possibly replace the Commander-in-Chief before the Democratic National Convention next month.

Despite calls from his own party including Members of Congress from the left side of the aisle, President Biden has remained adamant that he will stay in the race and square off with former President Donald Trump (R) in the November general election.

Rep. Hunt stated on social media that the Oval Office has effectively been vacant due to President Biden’s presumptive mental deficiencies.

“When FDR died we didn’t have a president for 2 hours and 24 minutes. When Kennedy was assassinated we didn’t have a president for 2 hours and 8 minutes. With Biden in office, we haven’t had a president in 3 and a half years,” said Rep. Hunt.

Furthermore, when asked about potential “rising stars” for the Democrats, Rep. Donalds quipped that the left’s political agenda contains a lot of “dim bulbs.”

Rising stars in the Democrat Party, if you look at their policy agenda, those aren't rising stars. There's a lot of dim bulbs over there because the agenda remains the same regardless of who they pick. Now to actually what they're going to do – Joe Biden is their nominee, the voters voted for him. They set up a primary process that was in name only, they squeezed everybody else out to protect Joe Biden,” said Rep. Donalds. “The only reason why you have these Democrats on Capitol Hill now complaining very quietly in the corridors of Washington is because they're concerned about their reelection prospects, not about the American people, not about their catastrophe of an agenda, not even about whether Joe Biden makes it or not across Election Day on November 5, they're concerned about themselves.”

He continued, “And so what people are seeing is the selfishness that does happen with politicians on Capitol Hill when everybody's thinking about how are they going to get reelected. That's why you have these members coming out because they all knew that Joe Biden was not capable of doing this job. They all knew about what was happening with his mental condition. They did not care to talk about this until it was exposed for the entire world to see. So that's their problem. Unfortunately, this is what the Democrat Party has brought for us, but there's not a lot of stars over there. I can tell you that.”

President Trump is expected to announce his running mate at the Republican National Convention this week in Milwaukee. Rep. Donalds is on the shortlist for that position.
