Shocking Stats: Roy, Donalds Blast Biden-Harris Administration as New ICE Data Surfaces

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently sent a letter to Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) detailing the rap sheet of illegal immigrants with charges or convictions. Representatives Chip Roy (R-TX) and Byron Donalds (R-FL) took jabs at the Biden-Harris administration, claiming that the numbers reflect the notion that the Democrats only care about power and not helping Americans.

The statistics demonstrated some alarming numbers, as there are 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 with pending criminal charges. These figures do include those in detention.

Of those criminals, 13,099 have been convicted of homicide, 15,811 have been convicted of sexual assault. Moreover, 62,231 have been convicted of assault, and 56,533 have been found guilty of a drug charge.

“What kind of people would do this to their country? And I tell you, it's the kind of people like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden who refused to even go to the border,” said Rep. Roy accusing the Biden-Harris administration. “And the only two times that Kamala Harris has come has been on her way to [a] fundraiser in Arizona. The other time was a pit stop at El Paso for a photo-op en route to a fundraiser in California. That's who they are.”

He continued, providing evidence of the awful circumstances that have occurred due to illegal immigration, including humanitarian tragedies. He also took a shot at Representative and Senate hopeful, Colin Allred (D-TX) in the process.

“They're the kind of people who let 53 immigrants die in a tractor-trailer in San Antonio, Texas in the blazing heat. They're the kind of people who let Jocelyn Nungaray get raped, murdered in her hometown in Houston,” said Rep. Roy. “Her beautiful mom, Alexis Nungaray, is out trying to defend her. And then they're the kind of people like Colin Allred, who then try to say that it's political, that Alexis Nungaray wants to speak out and say she wants somebody to actually secure the border. That's the kind of people we're talking about.”

Furthermore, the Texas congressman explained that there is an ulterior motive to allowing illegal immigrants to come over the border and commit additional crimes. According to Rep. Roy, that motive is political gain.

“This is about power. It's always been about power. They're releasing people in the United States and endangering us. Fentanyl killing our kids, people like Jocelyn Nungaray, Kayla Hamilton, Rachel Morin, Laken Riley. How many more names do you want me to go down the list that are dead directly because of the parole releases? And they're purposeful, and now we're seeing the consequences with these numbers from ICE, the number of criminals. We've known this, but now we've got an actual data point,” said Roy.

He concluded by saying that the “bipartisan border bill” wouldn’t have solved the problem and would’ve instead “codified the mass releases” of illegal immigrants and “remake America.”

Also, Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) added VP Harris cannot “run from her failed record as Border Czar” as the new data suggests.

Americans will have the choice between former President Donald Trump (R) and Vice President Kamala Harris (D) on Nov. 5.
