Texas has been hit with another crime tied to Venezuelan illegal immigrants who are allegedly members of a street gang. The crime, reported over the weekend, involved men terrorizing a woman in her home. Responding to the crime, Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R) shared his endorsement of "mass deportation," suggesting that President Donald Trump (R) will ensure it.
The Texas Republican shared a news story of a recent crime wherein four Venezuelan migrants are accused of "beating a woman, tying her up, and robbing her." The men used Google translate to communicate with the woman, threatening to cut her fingers off if she didn't cooperate. According to police, the men allegedly stole $75,000 worth of jewelry, a Gucci purse, a Ferragamo handbag, a Judith Leiber handbag, the woman's cellphone, and several coins from a wooden box.

However, fingerprints located at the scene of the crime led officers to Manuel Hernandez-Hernandez, who not only noted that he took part in the crime, but he also named four other suspects as well. Hernandez-Hernandez commented that the men have ties to a Venezuelan gang.
In response to the crime, Rep. Roy took to X to name the crime as the latest example of why voters should support President Trump in November. The Texas Republican further commented that this would ensure that the U.S. will "stop the flow at the border, and mass deport millions," reiterating, "not a few. Millions." Rep. Roy went on to comment that the country also needs to "get busy re-building and re-establishing the rule of law. If not - Texas will have to act solo and completely disregard the feds."
Texas has previously defied the federal government after Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) ordered the building of a border wall, citing President Joe Biden's (D) ineffective leadership. Texas also took over Eagle Pass, enacting measures to curb the flow of illegal immigration.
