Everllence has signed an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Agreement with the Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) to operate a new 124-megawatt balancing power plant currently under construction in Colorado County, Texas.
The plant is the first project to be financed by the Texas Energy Fund (TEF), and it aims to stabilize electricity tariffs for over 24,000 households and businesses in Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country region.
Under the agreement, Everllence will handle the daily operation and maintenance of the facility, including providing spare parts for gensets and auxiliary systems, as well as managing the supply of urea, lubricants, logistics, and administration. This full-service O&M approach is designed to ensure reliable and cost-effective operation of the flexible generation plant.

The Colorado County plant will serve as a model for grid-stabilizing generation as Texas continues to invest in infrastructure designed to enhance energy reliability, especially during periods of peak demand and market price volatility.
