Ronny Jackson Praises Trump's 'Bold' Middle East Peace Deal

U.S. Representative Ronny Jackson (R) praised President Donald Trump (R) on Fox Business Network's Mornings with Maria for what he called a "historic" and bold step toward renewed peace in the Middle East.

Jackson credited President Trump's direct involvement for the breakthrough, emphasizing that "this would not be possible if he had not taken the bold action" against Iran and its proxies in the region.

"President Trump has shown the world that Iran has been neutered," said Jackson. "This is purely because he involved himself...he had the guts to go after the Iranian nuclear program."

Jackson described the agreement as the first step toward a renewed phase of the Abraham Accords, which were originally brokered during Trump's first term. He pointed to Qatar's participation in the latest negotiations as a strategic shift, referencing the Gulf state's recent crackdown on Hamas leadership.

"Trump recognized what Qatar needed and used it to his advantage," said Jackson. "He's a master at figuring out what people need and what they want, and getting results."

Jackson also took the time to warn that the hostages held in Gaza may be in extremely poor condition upon release.

"They are going to be in bad shape, I'm pretty confident in that," he said. "In the past, when they've released hostages, Hamas has tried to drag their feet to give themselves a few days or weeks to get the hostages in a situation where they look a little better physically."

Jackson described the expected scenes as "horrific," but he reaffirmed that the current progress would not be happening without strong leadership.

"This is the first time we've had a leader who has confidence in the Arab world and the Israelis. That's the key to making this happen," he said.

Jackson argues that the peace agreement showcases a distinct difference between Trump's direct results-driven diplomacy and Biden's administration's less decisive foreign policy stance.
