Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the launch of a newly redesigned Crime Victim Services Division (CVSD) website, highlighting a significant update aimed at improving access to resources and support for crime victims across Texas.
"Crime victims deserve clear, compassionate, and reliable resources for help when they need it most," said Paxton. "Our redesigned website strengthens access to vital services, ensures victims, advocates, and service providers can easily find information and support, and will help the State of Texas continue to serve those who have been harmed by criminals."
The updated website features a clearer structure and expanded online tools tailored to the needs of its most frequent users. The site now offers three clearly defined pathways, allowing visitors to navigate to relevant information quickly.
Over 20 new pages have been added, providing detailed guidance and direct links to forms and available resources.
The redesign also introduces new secure online forms that allow users to submit documents or contact program staff electronically, reducing barriers to access.
An expanded Help Center now addresses common questions, while new safety features, such as an escape button on pages discussing sensitive topics, are designed to protect users navigating the site in potentially unsafe environments.
The website has also been made fully mobile-friendly, making it easier to use across devices.
According to the Attorney General's office, these enhancements are intended to make it faster and safer for Texans to connect with Crime Victim Services Programs and find support tailored to their individual needs.
The redesign is part of the Office of the Attorney General's effort to make it easier for Texans to find help, submit information, and connect with Crime Victim Services programs in a secure and user-friendly way.
