2020 Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris (D) is making a last-minute campaign stop in Texas on October 30th. While this may be a well-received visit for Democrat-leaning Texans, some Republicans are not so excited, and some like former Congressman Allen West and Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas sent a message of disapproval to Harris.

The video begins with West telling Texas Christians to go out and vote.

He explains why “the Christian community needs to come out and vote their values. Vote their principles. Vote the Bible. When you think about the secular humanist left, the progressive socialists of the left, they don’t stand up for our Christian principles and values.”

West continues, saying  “I just found out, that the senator from California, the current Vice Presidential nominee of the Democrat socialist party is coming to Texas. Well, I hope she Started walking… if you fly into Texas, airplanes use gas and gas comes from oil.”

The Chairman of the Texas GOP then ripped into the Green New Deal, saying Texans “don’t want a Green New Deal. Matter of fact, we don’t want anything related to the Democratic Party in Texas.”

“So you may come here and may get a couple of those chuckleheads to come out and see you, the bottom line is this, Texans don’t want you.”

Although this video carries an almost comical tone to it, many Texans agree with the message. Only the results of the 2020 Presidential Election will tell if Allen West and the sentiment in this message are correct.
