NRA Moving to Texas. Welcome To The ‘Great State of Texas’
Shortly after the Democratic-led House of Representatives passed the ominous H.R. 1 election bill that would dramatically overhaul national election laws, the National Rifle Association (NRA) announced that they were leaving New York State and “reincorporating” in the “great state of Texas.”
In a video released by the NRA about the move, Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) joined Reps. Jim Jordan (R) and Burgess Owens (R), former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, in welcoming the 5 million-strong gun rights organization to the Lone Star state.
“Welcome to Texas,” said Sen. Cruz. “We are thrilled to have the great NRA coming to the great state of Texas”
“Texans will respond the same as we did on October 2, 1835 in the town of Gonzales…”Come and Take It,” stated Chairman West.
Last week, West stated that Texas would not lay down and surrender its state’s rights to the “progressive socialists of the Democrat Party” and would “invoke the 10th Amendment and constitutional nullification.”
NRA exiting New York to reincorporate in Texas will make for the most successful and powerful #NRA ever.

“I’ve always found it interesting that elections are the one thing my colleagues on the other side don’t want to strictly regulate,” said Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) in his House floor speech opposing Rep. Lee’s bill.” See there’s this mythology amongst Democrats that common-sense rules in an election are synonymous with voter suppression. They make it sound like you have to go through an obstacle course to go vote. This isn’t true. It’s nonsense and everybody knows. Truth is the 4 out of 5 Americans support voter ID laws.”
Democrat Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, who has stood on a ‘centrist’ platform when running for office, veered away from her middle-of-the-road position by voting in favor of this measure. Not only did Rep. Fletcher vote for the bill, she co-sponsored it.
“The right to vote is foundational to our democratic system. And our success as a democratic society depends on protecting it,” stated Fletcher. “That’s why I’m proud to co-sponsor of #HR1, the #ForThePeople Act.”
