Roy Warns That Americans Aren't 'Safe' Because of Kamala Harris

Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R) has issued a stark warning for Americans. During a recent appearance on Steve Bannon's the War Room, Rep. Roy discussed the border crisis, directing blame at the current Administration. Citing recent murders perpetrated by illegal immigrants, Rep. Roy warned that Americans are no longer "safe" because of Vice President Kamala Harris (D).

Texas has been at the forefront of the border crisis. Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) led an effort to create a border wall, and Rep. Roy has been a vocal critic of how the Biden Administration has handled border crossings.

In his latest comments, the Texas Republican took issue with Democrats, saying that they're to blame for any lack of safety in the United States.

"Laken Riley is dead specifically because Kamala Harris - the so-called 'Border Czar' - Joe Biden, Secretary Mayorkas, all of the radical progressive Democrats in charge of this Administration, are violating our laws to release people into the United States using a policy called parole," Rep. Roy expressed. "The guy that they paroled in, that killed Laken Riley, would not have been in the United States but for their illegal actions to flood our country with, frankly, a large number of criminals and terrorists from prisons and from places around the world."

Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student who was killed while jogging near a lake on the University of Georgia campus. The suspect in her killing is a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela, and the trial is set to start on November 18.

In his remarks, Rep. Roy further directed blame at Vice president Harris, saying that her "radical agenda" has exacerbated safety concerns in the U.S.

"You - the American citizen - are no longer safe in America because Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, radical progressive Democrats, want to advance their radical agenda to import people from all over the world and to change the makeup of our country to use it for electoral success in their view and to, frankly, remake America. And, in doing so, take away your way of life," he warned.
